I was recommended to him by our GP for my daughter who was 16 at the time. He is without doubt, the friendliest, most down to earth doctor we have seen and he made my daughter feel very comfortable (he spoke to her AND me!) and in terminology that she could understand. One of our consultations, I could not attend, so he happily let me facetime in and answered my questions. We have seen him for two different medical conditions and he gave several options on both occasions and explained the pros/cons in a very understandable way and did not push medical intervention. Highly recommend him.

I had two consultations with Dr Hanan initially. One was in July and one in August 2018. Dr Hanan operated on me in September 2018. We had a follow-up consultation twelve days after the operation. We exchanged about a dozen emails during this time. Alam has been responding to my queries and concerns very promptly. I like his informal and friendly approach a lot.
At all three consultations, as well as on the day of the operation, before and after, Dr Hannan has been very empathic and respectful. He patiently answered all my medical questions. Many of those questions were based on my "layman's medical research" on the internet. While being very pleasant and polite, he still managed my expectations very well. Most importantly, he explained everything in a way that I could understand clearly.
People don't look forward to visiting doctors usually. However, in the case of Dr Alam Hannan, I must admit that I really enjoyed our sometimes lengthy conversations. They would paint a realistic picture of the progress with my treatment, and of my forecast.
I consider myself very lucky for being referred to Dr Hannan for my ENT medical condition. I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for an ENT consultant.

Dr Hannan spent a lot of time explaining my condition to my husband and me and questions from both of us. Even more important , he assured my it was nothing to worry about.

Mr Hannan was fantastic, easy to talk to, very understanding and honest with his advice. He treated my 15 year old son who felt very comfortable with him. He though he was the best consultant he had seen so far.
